Please read these policies carefully as they are the terms of sale that govern your purchases from myWheels Driving School. They set out your rights and obligations with respect to your driving lessons, including important limitations and exclusions. Your purchase of driving lessons constitutes your agreement that these policies apply, so be certain you understand them before you make any bookings.

We want to make sure you are completely satisfied, so we offer a 100% money back guarantee.  If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your lesson, please contact us by email or phone us on 1300 799 849.  If we can’t fix the problem, we will refund your lesson fee.

Privacy Policy

myWheels Driving School respects your privacy.  We recognise that when you choose to provide us with information about yourself, you trust us to act in a responsible manner.  The information collected is not sold or redistributed to any other party.

By necessity, your information is shared with your appointed Driving Instructor for the purposes of providing your driving lessons.  No external party will be provided with your information unless necessary to maintain our services to you, and we have a signed confidentiality agreement in place to protect your information.

Security Policy

We do not store any credit card details at all on our website and we don’t keep your payment details any longer than required to complete your transaction.  Any information relating to your credit card or debit card is destroyed and never kept on record.

Payment Policy

Unless other arrangements are made with us, payment must be made at the time of booking your lesson or test.  We offer the following methods of payment:

Pay online using major credit cards – Visa and Mastercard

  • Pay online using debit cards – Visa Debit card and Debit Mastercard
  • Contact our office on 1300 799 849 during business hours to use your credit card / debit card or to make alternative arrangements.

All prices quoted on our website are in Australian dollars.

Cancellation Policy – Driving Lessons

Our Driving Instructors are paid by the lesson and rely on lesson bookings for their income.  If lessons are changed or cancelled at late notice, it is often not possible to rebook the lesson to another student, so the Driver Trainer loses his or her income.  This is why we have a cancellation policy which requires a minimum of 24 hours notice or full fees are charged for the lesson.  Your understanding in this regard is appreciated.

Should you be unable to keep to your booked appointment and give less than 24 hours notice, then your lesson fee will still be due for payment and it will NOT be refunded.

Please note that our 24-HOUR RULE is strictly enforced!

Cancellation Policy – Practical Tests

When you book a practical test, we make payment to Qld Transport on your behalf and your Driving Instructor holds the appointment time for you.

If test bookings are cancelled or postponed with less than 2 full business days notice, Qld Transport does not refund the booking fee to us.  Also, your Driving Instructor may also have difficulty rebooking your appointment time to other students.  This is why we have a cancellation policy which requires a minimum of 2 business days notice or full test fees are charged.  Weekends are not considered as business days for this purpose.  Your understanding in this regard is appreciated.

Should you be unable to keep to your booked appointment and give less than 2 business days notice, then your test fee will still be due for payment and it will NOT be refunded.

Please note that our 2-BUSINESS-DAY RULE is strictly enforced!

Refunds Policy

All lessons are booked with the full intention of them being delivered by myWheels Driving School.  In the unlikely event that it is necessary for us to cancel a lesson, we will endeavour to provide you with as much notice as possible and we will always seek to offer you an alternative time or date that is suitable for you.  Should this not be possible, then upon your request, the lesson fee will be refunded to you in full.

If upon arrival for a lesson, the Driving Instructor deems that a student is unfit to undertake the lesson due for example, to the effects of drugs or alcohol, then the Driving Instructor will NOT continue with the lesson.  The student will be liable for the full cost of the lesson which they had booked and no refund will be given.

Any student who pays for a number of lessons in advance and requests a refund, will receive a refund for those lessons not yet taken, provided the minimum notice period of 24 hours is adhered to.

Should a student cancel a lesson booking with more than 24 hours notice and not wish to reschedule the lesson, he or she will receive a refund for the value of the cancelled lesson.

Should a student cancel a lesson booking with less than 24 hours notice, he or she WILL NOT receive a refund for the value of the cancelled lesson.

Should a student cancel a lesson booking with less than 24 hours notice due to illness, he or she will not receive a refund unless a medical certificate is provided.  In this instance, the cancellation fee will be waived and a refund will be given for the value of the cancelled lesson.

Requests for a refund due to illness will only be accepted within a period of 7 days after the scheduled date of the lesson.

Once it is established that a refund is payable, myWheels Driving School will process the refund within a period of 7 days.
